Looking at the FT Space Fighter and recognized T3chDad and when I made mine 12 years ago, I gave it a PLAN C and put it on "CRACK".
It lasted about 30 flights before it destroyed itself due to high G's. Lost plane, battery, electronics, motors, but had fun.
I did the following additions to the plane:
1) Shorten the elevons and installed 2 motors with 7 x 4/8 props that acted as thrust vectoring and acted as elevons.
2) Used a y mixer that allows the props to produce differential thrust to give you high rudder control.
3) Up front was a canard and installed 2 servos so you now have both surfaces of the canard act as a set of elevons.
4) Now that you have 3 sets of elevons(regular elevons, canard, motor/prop) I used mixes so every surface had trims for adjustment and used 4 modes to add one more control to add enjoyment to your flying. It certainly was on crack with all four working together.
FT should make one from the FT Space Fighter and do a video to show what is possible with lots of thrust and plenty of control. Should produce some weird flight and lots of laughs. Think you could handle that? I use to fly Formula I.
Only thing left is vid showing setup. Flights were on old computer that crashed.
