093 Rooftops and Phantom coffee

Wayne is back in the studio after being gone for awhile and lets us know about the RC runway at his new house. Andre fills us in on his devastating crash of the HMB quad and how it took a few days to recover it. Chris shares his shenanigans with Phantom 3 and his first time getting motion sickness flying FPV. Thanks for listening. - See more at: 093 Rooftops and Phantom coffee

This is what the HMB looked like after a few wet days on a roof top.

Peter already has the core tilt system working.

In the form of the bronco right.

Yea, I guess if the wing were to articulate as opposed to the motors. Could be doable, but the cg would be a bit weird. I think the tail rotor can reverse pitch though, that is pretty tough to do.

You could see it in the transition it was a little unstable.

The wing moving up would certainly be affected in the wind.

Also, if you're being strict about recreating it, yaw was generated by propwash on the ailerons and flaps. Not sure how well that would scale down.
