1/4 cessna 140 build

I was talking to my friend has been in the hobby for a long time he’s built over 300 airplanes, and he said that Cessna 140 models aren’t that common because they’re challenging to build that’s why tips would be appreciated!

Well I guess I’m no use to you sense I’m not great at building, but maybe you mash a commuter and a cub together. 🤷‍♂️

Just getting done for the night been pretty tired, sorry I don’t usually have much to say when it comes to building but there’s my firewall I’m gonna do more sanding on the firewall and formers, I have to make a couple more formers and I used tight bond for the entire frame and then epoxied all the parts that need to be incredibly strong so I’ll keep posting

those cuts are looking amazing so far!

OK so long story short when I took it off the paper it wasn’t too sturdy and it kind of came apart because I’m using hard Balsawood for the front and it doesn’t want to bend should’ve done this earlier but I had to neatly take the front part apart and soak it in lukewarm water

Spackle anyone? So actually I just got the general frame done and the farmers last night putting fish plates on all of the formers in the next couple weeks or so I should begin sheeting the top half and installing my servo mounts,
