A few years ago i put together a 200% champ with hot glue and bamboo skewers, which flew until the hot Georgia sun caused a complete Structural failure of the air frame, leading to a crash. Now that i have a 3d printer, i can finally make it properly, and hopefully this time it will fly. I wanted to do something different than other printed planes so i have essentially swapped wood for PLA so i could print it on my smaller printer and plan to cover it with paper with a dope over it.
I've been working on it for the past 2 months and have been working from the back forward so that i can get the CG right.
I am free handing the parts on Inventor and printing them with a Cr-6SE printer.
Here is what i have so far
