3d printed EDF not as it seems

Hey guys, I recently bought a 3d model of a 70mm EDF for the Ft Viggen. When I printed It I found however that with an electronic gauge it was 75 mm which does not fit. I am disappointed that yet again it is not the correct size.

Which dimension is 75mm? 70mm generally refers to the diameter of the fan itself, so the diameter of the duct is likely somewhat larger. There is a bit of extra space on the bulkhead where the EDF mounts in the Viggen so it may be possible to cut out a bit of foam and get it to fit. Also, looking at pictures of the EDF unit, I'm a bit skeptical of how much power it will be able to generate, so watch out to make sure you have enough thrust

That design looks very poor and likely will not produce much thrust. The design of the blades is extremely primitive. I also think that the motor you've selected is underpowered for what you want to do. This model is not much more money than what you already have, and would likely do much better for the Viggen. 3D printing is not the solution to every problem, unfortunately. I say that as an avid 3D printer enthusiast.
