3DLabPrint Spitfire MK XVI Wing Lock Modification

I have started printing a 3DLabPrint Spitfire MK XVI (Wingspan 973mm (38.3in)). Reading reports of the wing coming loose in flight and not happy with the friction fit I decided to modify the wing lock with a spring to provide a positive pin retention.

All you need is a ballpoint pen spring and to print the bushing. 10 minutes to print and a only a minute to install.

This modification is easy to do to do for existing models by just adding the bushing and spring, no need to cut anything and you do not need to replace the existing pin. If you are building a new plane you can install the modified pin with hole to keep the spring centered. Add a drop of CA to the bushing after installing.
