Just received 2 of the Aeronkish cartoon airplane kits from Buzzard Models. Built both kits in one evening!! The kits were well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Here are a few photos .
Finally got this little plane flying. We loaded the car last night and just as we got out of the driveway we eard the sound of crushing foam. My brother had his plane in a box which fell right on the Aeroconish (ouch). Hot glue and fifteen minutes later we were back on the road. Good news , the plane flew great. Super slow with very good rudder authority. This could be flown anywhere. Here is the video:
Building number 2. Going with a caveman theme and we all know there is only one caveman that could possibly fly a plane. Still need to fit Dino, his head may end up going through the wing.
Thanks ! I am having way to much fun with these. I build a lot of crazy planes, this is the first one my girlfriend really likes. Put some feet on Fred that are on a carbon fiber rod so they can move freely.
Was going to fly this in the gym on Wednesday but the esc was acting up. Put a new motor and esc in today and had to give a test flight. Winds were at 8mph which was a bit much for this 5.5 oz plane but it flew good. I think this will fly outdoors in under 5 mph winds. This is definitely going to be a fun indoor flyer.
