I am new to the FT family but not RC. I used to build and fly High speed slope gliders. I now live in Kentucky and slope is unheard of here. I'm crazy about the FT CONCEPT!

Welcome! Building (and crashing) with foam board is a real eye opener. Good job on the Sportster, it's one of my favorites.

Foamboard is pretty addictive, Slatroni, so welcome...but beware! Soon you'll have lots of hot glue burns, piles of foam scraps, and more planes to build then you have time.

PS- Where do you live now in KY? I've got a couple of old Army buddies down there: Bardstown & Elizabethtown.

Thanks for the warm welcomes! I am in Glasgow, about an hour south of E-Town. I haven't found a place to fly the Sportster yet but I have a mini DR1 on the way. That, I can fly in my yard.

You'll love the DR1, I've done 5 minis and 3 at 150%. Great little plane.
