Finally worked out how to stop the constant beeping while using my new FRsky external module, while connected to an X8R receiver :):giggle: this is the closest I will get to smug looking emoji's.
Now I can cancel the return/refund request and concentrate on setting up the wireless trainer option (y)

I decided to completely recover my T-34 Mentor. The original covering was just too far gone to try and patch it up. So I spent 3hrs trying to get the old covering off because the color and glue seperated from the clear film and I realised about a half hour in that if I heat it with a heat gun the two would stay together and come off easily. Then I had 2 and a half hours of work to get the glue and color that I left behind before I realised that trick.

I decided to go with the NASA color scheme because it was the perfect blend between civilian and military and was relatively simple. I still have a bit of structural work with the wing and fuselage to get done then it's on to sanding and color!

Projects for today are : landing gear for the P-38, I figure its my best shot at getting it into the air as I don't really have anybody to help hand launch it. Second project is install motor and FPV camera in the sailplane. Then hopefully out for some flying after supper, I have the FT Racer, Mustang, Simple Cub and my Black Bart ready to go today. And yes the P-38 fits into the car, LOL, not easily but I can get it in there:ROFLMAO:

This is my first FT foamboard build, an FT22 Raptor! I finally found a local seller for white foamboard, 2 bucks for a 1000x700mm sheet.
With a 1000mAh 3S battery it weights 430g or 15.15oz ready to fly. I don't know if it is heavy or not, I am a rookie with foamboard.

My FT22's (with 3s 650mAh batteries) come in under 250g... so your definately on the high side, but probably not so high you would have issues flying.

Are yours minis? building with depron? because that weight doesn't sound right for the full size f22 he built.
you have a link to the non-mini one? I can only find the mini, which is what I build.

however that looks exactly like the mini except for the motor mount

Found it... they look basically identical except for the motor mount.
