Wow that's ridiculous.
I think I've seen that pic somewhere before...
It's funny , when I printed that I Googled "cat pictures" (because we have 2 cats) and your avatar was like one of the first ones , so of course I was like Hell Yeah! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: just never got around to posting it. Pops. LOL

I got the Brit all set up. Receiver/w flight controller/stabilizer, rates dialed in and CG set. Hoping for some decent weather for a maiden this weekend.

I need to get some bigger batteries! 1300ah 3S are the heaviest I have and I had to add a good bit of ballast to the nose with the battery as far forward as it can go to get the CG right.

What batteries are being used in these planes with the B packs?

This is something I meant to share a while ago, I printed this thing called a lithopane, it's probably one of the coolest things I have printed. Away from the light it doesn't look like much but put it up to the light and it looks like a B/W photo, The picture I used itself I'm not so sure of :ROFLMAO: but its an example of a cool 3D printed thing.

A very productive day and night, which is surprising as my cold and sniffles have developed into flu like symptoms. My eyes have been watering that much I look like one of those women off a chat show, who got caught out cheating on her husband on TV.
Anyway, that aside I have got very organised today and managed to transfer another 9 models onto my new Transmitter, this gives me a grand total so far of 11 stored models so far. That should give me plenty to choose from if I plan to fly, that is assuming I am well enough to go flying on Sunday.
I also setup an excel spreadsheet with another 11 planes which I plan to transfer over the weekend.
That just leaves the Warbird setup's which I still need to be populate in my spreadsheet, prior to setting the models up on the transmitter.
Once they are all moved over I can finally update my older transmitter, with latest firmware and back all my models onto there.

I also managed to test out the Corsair retracts that arrived yesterday they look pretty sweet too. Unfortunately they where designed as replacement for the Dynam Corsair which is a 1270mm wingspan.
My balsa Corsair is closer to an 1100mm wingspan, which means with the wheels on the retracts will be a bit too close to the trailing edge/ailerons .
I could go with slightly smaller wheels to give me the clearance I need, or buy some smaller retracts and use these on another project. I have plenty of time to decide the Corsair is a summer project, plus I still need to get that Enya SS30 running first.

I was hoping to get my Spitfire landing gear mods finished off yesterday, unfortunately that's another task that fell by the wayside. Hopefully if I can grab a couple of hours in in bed undisturbed when I get home, I can revive myself enough and get the assembly side completed. That will leave the painting which I can finish off tomorrow night, as I start my 3 days off today.
