The Midi Mambo is painted (Rustoleum rattlecan) and trimmed (Ultracote, automotive trim, and black Super Monokote). As long as you're careful and don't turn the iron up too high (About 200F, max), those covering materials will stick to painted surfaces.

Otherwise, the servos are in, but the pushrods and other innards need to be done.
I hinged the control surfaces with CA hinges, using clear Gorilla Glue. A bit messy, but it holds well. I did need to insulate the tailwheel strut from the rear fuse with Saran Wrap, so it wouldn't be glued to the fuselage.

At this point, it looks like the model will be 27-28 oz. RTF, depending on the battery (2S2200 or 3S1500) and motor.

Will be faster if you move the cg back a just a wee bit so it unloads the elevons more, but fly it stock for a bit first to get used to it. Ideally, you want 1 trim click up from dead flat for level flight.
