I recently bought a range of APC folding props and hubs with the intent of making several different sized motor gliders. I have a few A pack and C pack motors available and was planning to use the FT 1806 radial for the first one, but I discovered that the hub is too wide for the motor shaft and won’t allow any nut to be threaded on to secure it. Does anyone have experience or a recommendation on the best way forward to use The smaller folding prop setups? Do I need to find another motor with a collet type shaft or drill out the hub enough to allow a nut to thread? O do I just need to switch to another folding prop design?
