It is a real buzz when your 50m up and flying at eye level close to you - I thought it was an adrenalin rush, but I had coffee with a DS (dynamic sloper guy) and he said sloping is a doddle compared to DS - so I guess there is more to try!

In continuing the balsa theme, I am liking the idea of designing a slope glider in wood/balsa in the style of the 'Rock4K' 80" which I like the look of, especially the wingtips - I am unsure whether to go V tail (which you know I am a fan of) or a traditional rudder/elevator (the Osprey 100" from the '80s has a nice one) - I am thinking to target 80" (2.0m) and go with dihedral/ailerons/flaps/elevator rather than a polyhedral/rudder/elevator.

A bit more progress on the wing to add the tapered section before detailing the flaps and ailerons - I am using the 'Osprey' plan as a reference, but my wing panels have different proportions for the tapered position - the 'Osprey' is a polyhedral wing and this will be a dihedral wing (at this point) - an interesting process so far.

I have mostly finished the wing and tail - as this is for laser cutting the joints are also detailed to make for a better kitset - the next stage is to rough out the fuse - although I am using the Osprey100 as a scale guide I am designing my own version of the ROCK-it-4K and as most of you guys know I do love the 'V' tails!

Here is the rough assembly.
The fuse is just roughed out and will get a makeover, but it is indicative of the direction - the wing needs to be sheeted at the front of the tapered sections and there is no rib bracing yet - it is set up for ailerons and flaps - this one could be converted to a power glider.
I call it 'the Verve'!

Hi Bracesport.. was there any CAD files released for the Slope Master for laser cutting, or any STLs for 3D Printing..

If someone sends me the files, I can have a go at knocking up a 3D Printed version...I think you should just do a 3D printed one
