Choosing ESC fo tricopter

Hi all,
I am about to buy ESCs for my first ever tricopter.

I know there are 3 types of ESC available in store.



1.That is card programmable - affordable

2.That is programmable using Tx stick( the dealer says it is already programmed) - cheap

3. That is pre-flashed(Simon K) - costly

Which is the best one to choose for my first venture?? I dont like to compromise on money. I need to understand which is best and reliable one.. Thanks...

When you say "affordable", "cheap", and "costly", what are the actual prices?

These are the ESCs I would choose for my next build. They are the Afro Slim 20Amp ESCs already flashed with SimonK @ $13.60 each. I especially like their slim design.

You should post your location (country will do) so we can provide better options. If you are in the US, the shipping for three of these would probably only be around $6.00 or so.
