The mini talon is not a "beautiful" plane but it is a really lovely FPV platformThat`s a nose only a mother could love.

I sure have but will stay on crossfire as being 898mhz it should actually give a little more leeway when it comes to hills and the like getting in the way. Also Crossfire can go above 100mw in the UK which the immersionRC Ghost transmitters are not allowed to due to EU regulations.@CarolineTyler - Hi Caroline, this is looking pretty cool - have you seen the new GHOST protocol for long-range on 2.4ghz
I may add a tracker for the directional antenna, will just see how this goes for the momentHoly mini NASA tracking station batman!!!! Are you developing Britain's next generation drone defense system there?
you have done a marvellous job - I wouldn't know where to start!
Recently I watched a video of an autonomous glider slope soaring, it is mind-boggling what is possible these days. The most techie thing I have done lately is to get my FSi6s wirelessly connected to my Jumper T16 using a Multi-Protocol Module as a receiver - in theory, the student radio can be as far away from the Master radio as a typical Tx to Rx can achieve in-flight (no limitations from the buddy wire length)!
Upgraded my TBS crossfire microTX V2 to V4.0 - output power raised to 1W max and MAVLink via WiFi enabled - terrific stuff
Oh dear Caroline,Love the plane so much I have bought another airframe. Learning so much about FPV I think I want to build another with a different layout of equipment. £48 in the UK warehouse of Banggood, how could I not?????
...and I have a mini pixhawk to go in it, Arduplane ahead!!!!Oh dear Caroline,
You are indeed as deranged as the rest of us regulars on this board. You will soon need to expand or get more hangers to fit your obsession into!
Cheers!

I had a look for sure as the price is great, however it's build looks a bit lightweight to move a big 1.3Ghz antenna. Thank you@CarolineTyler This may be of interest to you. Was checking out the cheap stuff n saw it.
