I'm trying to build a multirotor that can deliver things. I don't want to use a bomb bay sort of mechanism though. Instead of dropping in free fall, I want to hover and lower the payload on a string through a brake winch or similar mechanism. Ideally it would be something small and capable of lifting 15-20lbs. (I'm not actually lifting anything that heavy, but I want to include a factor of safety. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.
