Dihedral

Hello again guys and gals, I'm about to do the wing joining of my Goldberg J-3 Anniversary Cub. I come to you with a question about dihedral. Do I need it? I've had great success of flying planes with out it such as my mini ultra stick, my slick 3d and even my TaylorCraft. Could I just get rid of it entirely with this build? I know I would loose some of the minor self righting of the plane and maybe even the scale look, of which I have abandoned completely.

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Do you NEED it? The short answer is no. Your flight characteristics will change a bit without it, but ailerons should be enough for good flight. How much dihedral is there? It shouldn't be so much that it's super noticeable.

Well, you don't need it, but it helps with stability. You usually only see it on the sailplanes or some with trainers with it.
I guess it is your preference.
