Hi, first I want to thank you for this awesome design! I had a lot of fun building it!
I have very limited resources so I can't use the parts I wanted to, but I think it is turned out pretty great. :)
Here you can see my build video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=damvYoVhPhU
Thank you once again and keep up the good work!

Wow.. loving your build. Congrates to you.. :)

I've done more updates since, on version 3.1 over at http://diyrc.co.uk now

Its been also designed to accept the Naza flight controller as lots of people wanted to use that.. so I bought one and did it. :)

Oww.. I've also redesigned the top pieces to look even more mavic'ish.. lol

Some photos below for you..

Purchased a mavic pro sun shield from Amazon last week.. seems to fit spot on :).

Two problems mind at the moment. ..
First is that we don't have any sun in the UK.. and second I don't have a camera yet either!

Still.. it fits ;-)

Just when you think 3d printing is all the rage.. someone goes and makes a Mavic out of wood !! I think it looks fantastic..

It's gimbal time at last.. Done some rough designs at the moment as I'm waiting on my Runcam 3 to arrive :) maybe next week I hope.

Any updates on the gimbal?? You should change if from the runcam 3 to the runcam split as that's a more convenient size. Also, you could see exactly what you are filming from exactly the same vantage point with no latency. Really looking into building one of the variants, either Naza or iNav (standard 30.5x30.5 Flight controller).

Also, which would you recommend building around, the naza, pixracer, or iNav? I want something that has good position hold, altitude hold, and rth functions.

Thanks, Nathan
