Does the Orange 620X V3 bind with an ORX T-SIX V1?

I've gotten an old Version 1 model of a Hobby King Orange ORX T-Six transmitter, and was wondering if it would bind to the Orange 620X V3 Reciever on the HK website. I've heard stories that it wouldn't bind to the version 2 receiver.

My Tx is DSM2 and the Rx is DSM2/DSMX but I still want to make sure before buying.
