Dynam receiver compatibility with advanced transmitters

I have a Dynam 7 channel receiver and I was wondering if a Spektrum transmitter would bind to it? I haven't had much luck finding a Dynam manual for this receiver to find out what protocol it uses.

unless it runs DSM 2 or DSM X, it wouldn't bind to a Spektrum TX.

google seems to indicate that it would use the DT-Link PROTOCOL, which is not DSM2/DSMX.
