f-14 chuck glider. plans are from griz wiz plan index

hey everyone i know every one loves the f-14 but its hard to design and i was looking around in the forums and i found Griz wiz and looked in his plan index and sure enough there was f-14 chuck glider plans. now i haven't painted it yet i'm trying to choose between top gun mavericks f-14 paint scheme or jolly rodgers

So, I cut this and started putting it together. I think I see how it's supposed to go together, but there some details that don't quite seem to work out in my mind's eye. Has anyone built this?

A google search gives up this thread and a short video with John Overstreet talking about it and he shows it completed, but does not go into any build detail.

I'm just trying to figure the wing/top bottom stack, and there appears to be missing spacers. The sides of the front fuse also look like they may need to be trimmed to fit?

Are you to use skewers for the pivots?

That is actually the tail Custom made for me on an F-16 kit done by Namactual way back and printed laser cut then gifted to me by Kilroy07 at FF2019
