First, thank you for your hard work and all those details. I am going to take on this project. Now, just one preliminary question: For the plans that are in your download file, on what size of paper should they be printed?

The foam sheet pdf's are 762x508 mm (20x30''), you can print them with the poster profile in adobe print view, it splits them automatically.
@Matthewdupreez sure if one puts two pusher props on it but it's not really designed for that and there are better options for pusher f-14's out there anyways

no. its an EDF or you might be able to make it a BDF, but I don't think this is the kind of plane you want a prop powering.

No, this is Flitedesign 3d's own design.

I would stick with the recommended 64mm as per the design. 50mm would likely be underpowered.

Probably better if you upscale the plans by 5-10%. Not only because of size constraints but 70mm power system is also quite a bit heavier which might make it more difficult to hand launch

I want to know if I can 3D print the wing sweep mechanism? If yes so from what metirial? PETG?
I don't really have access to a cnc machine
I think I may have a friend with a cnc machine but I tend ill need to make it from plywood. Will it work?

I don't recommend printing the carbon fiber parts as it would result in a very flexible central wing structure, even if you made it slightly thicker. Birch plywood might just work, that's what I used in the first version of the F-14, though it was quite flexible too. For carbon fiber, there are cnc cutting services available on the internet where you can order custom parts with your dxf files.

Still waiting on the edf's because of the war thats happening but as soon as ill get them ill buid it for sure🫡🫡
