FHX-1280 TX won’t stay on

99% likelihood I am doing something wrong. TX is bound to receiver (solid orange led). When I turn the Tx on (press both front panel buttons momentarily), all servos/esc work fine for 3 to 7 seconds and then the Tx just shuts off (new batteries)!
What am I doing wrong?
