My friend has such a transmitter. It was a 6-channel transmitter and I flashed it to 10 channels. There is a topic on flashing this transmitter for long-range receivers. I can send the data, but to my friend, I advised him to buy a new transmitter. This transmitter is entry-level and works great up to 2 km (it depends on the area). Flysky and Frsky -These transmitters may not be compatible. : they have a different way of encrypting the signal.

Hi, complete noob here,
I have made this- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4769576

I have bought a Flysky i6x transmitter and wondering what is the best/easiest receiver to go with it, and am I right in saying that an frsky xm+ doesn't work with fs-i6x?
Thanks
I have a Flysky transmitter as well. Flysky uses two radio protocols (meaning it can receive and transmit radio waves within those protocols): AFHDS 2A and AFHDS. If the receiver you are looking to buy states that it is compatible with either AFHDS 2A or AFHDS, then it will be compatible with your transmitter. If it uses a different protocol, then it will not be compatible. However, I am not 100% sure if the receiver will or will not work with your transmitter. I don't see any exact specifications of the protocol it uses, so I can't come up with a conclusive answer. But, a Flysky brand receiver or a receiver that is specified to be compatible with Flysky will work with your FS-i6X. Good luck with your quad! :)
