How do you build so light, I touch anything and it gains weight

I don't build for strength. At 110g it was actually harder to launch and fly.

Yes, 1.2m and 125g AUW. Working on another Umx plane. Need to solder an elevator servo to board. Not sure if I want 1.2m or go 1.5m.

They are about the same. The 1.2 is easier to transport and store.

remember to circulate once you find yourself in a thermal and you should start to climb.

Temperatures are only in the 80's now. Great time to fly.

@flyboa - super nice flights - very impressive - coincidently I met some slope soaring guys a weekend back and one of them is a competitive F3k flier - I showed home your videos, and he can’t believe what you are achieving - I am ready to fly my ship when the wind stops!

@bracesport Happy new year. Single layer foam paper off and laminated with 1/32 balsa. AUW 120g.

Maidened the balsa covered wing today. I think it was too light. Didn't launch well and had flutter if I tried to over power it. Will stick with the cheaper paper covered dollar foam board for now.

Yes. The launch was not quite as bad as trying to launch a Whipit.
