The 1.0m flies really well - seems to fly faster?

Not really. It is a 2ch so I do have to fly it differently than my 3ch planes. It will loose altitude in a turn if I slow down too much.

Arrow will work but they are heavy. I like using 6mm carbon tubes from Aloft hobbies.

@Paracodespoder - for what it is worth my 7.3mm x700mm CF arrows are about 12g (with nock removed)

I picked up an 7.6mm arrow from Wal-Mart that weighed 21g at 700mm. Might work well for a slope soarer.

Re-maiden of cut down 52" wing on composite fuse. Composite wing setup was 210g and had some twist in it. With foam wing it is now only 168g and seems to fly better.

@flyboa - you are the master of the air and you have proved that lighter weight really does pay a dividend (is your foam wing 1300mm)? - I think on my last build the fuse was too short - what is your typical measurement between the main wing TE and the LE of the horizontal stabiliser for you 1.5m ships?

I usually try 17.5". That 52" wing probably could use more dihedral. It felt too sensitive to aileron inputs with the expo setting used.
