FPV monitor mounted on the transmitter

Hi everyone! I'm going to try flying FPV for the first time. For that I've got a Boscam monitor with the diversity receiver and a carbon fiber mount to attach the monitor to my TX. I've test fit it and it looks and feels pretty good, but there's one thing I'm afraid of. Won't the monitor body be shielding the signal from my transmitter? Won't I loose too much control range? Does anybody fly in this configuration? Maybe I should throw that mount away and use an old good tripod?

Lesson learned. This contraption has turned out to be very unwieldy and clumsy. Crashed hard my Teksumo today :black_eyed:

Thanks for an idea. His setup looks much more rigid than mine.
