FT-Viggen...Landing Gear?

Has anyone tried adding landing gear to the Viggen or is that something shouldn't be added to this aircraft.

I have some retracts on order. When they are delivered (hopefully next week) I'll start to install them. I will post back on my progress with pictures and the type of retracts.

I just finished the upgrade. You should only do this if you are using a 70mm EDF and 4s. I added servos and a flap to the canards that are synced with the elevlons (just remember that up is down and down is up on the canards). I also added a 1/2A Dubro steerable nosewheel. Just make sure you taxi slow or you'll be tilting. The nose sits slightly down (which is why I added the flaps to the canards) which results in a very realistic takeoff and landings. The rear wheels are stitched onto 1/8 ply and then hot glued. I covered that with reinforced packing tape.

Yep, i tried, and it flies great!!! I tried it on a 1500kv propeller version... Was running it with a 80amp esc and 2200mah 3s battery
