It's a 3d printed flying wing covered in balsa!
I just ordered all the parts I need for my first 3d printer so I think I may try to construct one in the near future. I will post something on here if I do end up making it.

I like it! Have not seen this.

How heavy is it? I have been waiting for a print material that has a very high strength to weight ratio to come out before I bought a printer.

It's pretty cool and looks really well put together, but being made almost entirely from flat printed plates I'm not sure it actually benefits from being 3d printed. It could be manufactured using other methods much more quickly, and perform as well or better than a 3d print. It seems like he did it as a bit of a personal challenge which is really cool. It's too bad it looks like it requires a print bed bigger than most home printers.

I think i remember him saying he split up the frame pieces so they can be made on most desktop 3d printers and he did it in a way that strength is not compromised too much.
