Having some issue with my ESC I think

I have an Electirfly SS-25 brushless ESC Silver series connected to a Tactic 624 6-channel reciever, 2 hextronic 9g servos and have tried 2 different motors. When I connect the battery, the reciever gets power and connects to my transmitter and the servos work, but the motor doesn't beep and does not respond to the throttle. I double checked the connections and everything seems like it's right.

I've only had it a few weeks, it's been through a couple of low altitude crashes (~3ft high) in a scratch built FT-22 Raptor.

Anyone have an idea?

If it does the same thing on two motors is rather has to be either a bad connection somewhere between ESC and the motor or the ESC itself is 'blown'.
If one of the MOSFETS (the bit that does the power switching) in the ESC has gone - a crash with the motor running can over load them - then you will need a new ESC.
The BEC side of an ESC is separate and will keep working and providing power for the radio and servos.
