Hello,

New to forum and renewed in R/C aviation. I see just one member in Hawaii, are there any other memnbers in Hawaii? Could there be a region added for US outside of continental US? (Alaska & Hawaii)

when I was stationed at K-Bay there were often rc flyers flying near the base in Kailua.

I'm on Oahu and sometimes fly at the Kawainui Marsh Field. Other times I am sloping at different spots.

If I were in Hawaii still I would really want to get some video of the mountains after a rain when all those little waterfalls start pouring, like on the windward side by H3. Oh the video to be shot.

I was just in Kauai last month, loved it. I imagine planes need to be water proofed big time there. Trade off would be slope soar over the canyon, if helis stay away. Flew the biplane while was there, fantastic!

I'll be in Maui for 10 days starting Saturday. How friendly are the beaches to RC? I want do some beach gliding or something.
