hi everyone, first of all i am new in the hobby, and i only fly my homemade tricopter, but i want to try build and fly a Versa Wing, but first if anyone can answer my doubts it will be nice, so i have some extra parts from my tricopter:
-18amp Speed Controller-http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4312;
- 750KV Brushless Outrunner Motor- http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=12922;
-Propeller RD-1047-http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__27359__GWS_EP_Propeller_RD_1047_254x119mm_grey_6pcs_set_.html
-batery 3cell 2.200mha-http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8934

so anyone can tell me if with this parts will work fine together on the versa wing?

best regards

You want a higher kv motor and a smaller prop. The versa wing can be flown with either an 8" or smaller... or a 9" if you trim the ailerons...

you mean scale up the design? Maybe. 125% might do it for a 10" prop, assuming you can fit the parts on the foamboard. make sure to chop the throttle on landing -- a prop that long as pusher is a canidate for snapping.

You could also build a tractor format either normal size or scaled up, but you'll need to be really careful on landing to flair hard and cut your throttle. might even want to turn on your ESC break to prevent windmilling. If you land nose first or with the motor running, you'll snap the prop -- you may do that anyways with the collet prop adaptor included with that motor.

Either way, you'll want to look into getting a prop-saver adaptor as soon as possible -- or a LOT of replacement props.
