Help! I can get my esc to calibrate

And also the battery is pretty heavy and I don't know what to do for landing gear if anyone has any ideas can you tell me

I have only ever soldered on the battery because the balance charging plug had broken loose and I would have had to throw it away but only do that at your own risk............

It's a FLASH HOBBY D2826 Brushless Motor 2200KV Outrunner Motor, I got I big battery because I wanted to fly for a long time
Remember that bigger batteries on a to small a plane can make it harder to fly and make it harder for landing because you have to fly faster to keep up your lift, it can also make it hard to balance your smaller planes. It looks like your motor power is about that of the FT B pack so the biggest battery you will want is about 1800mah.

What kind of motor should I use for my 8000mah battery

Huge! and you wing span will probably be like 8ft! you would be better off down sizing your battery, it will cost more for the motor for that size of plane than a new 1800- 2200mah battery.

Yes, 8000mah is a bit too much, a 2200 3s would work great. And BTW that is actually a power pack B motor. with a really high kv.
