I Just Finished...

I thought I'd share my latest scratch build. I just finished these two amazing Simple Scouts. One is for me and the other is for my Dad. I built them so that me and my Dad could put streamers on the tails and have a streamer completion. It should be really fun I'll make sure to post some pics.

I took the one with the orange propeller out this morning for some bunny hop testing and ran in to a tree. But we got here all fixed up now and ready to fly in to the wild blue yonder.

All thats left now is to slap some paint on there and fly.

I got some paint on the Scouts and put some decals on as well.

The red did not show up very well on the back foam board.
I also built this really cool dummy radial engine and installed it on the Scouts.

I plan to talk about how I did it in another post.
We took them out yesterday and flew them. I was epic! Epic flying and Epic crashing!

And now epic fixing!

Great attitude. Enjoy the entire process and share it with your Dad, how can it be better than that?

Thank you for your kind words. Yesterday afternoon I was able to get it all fixed up. Should be able to fly today.
