In Australia What do you use to seal your foam board with before painting ?

I've just finished building my 3rd foam board plane and would like to paint this one.
I'm not sure what to seal/prime it with to help the paint stick to the paper.
I was Just wondering what product fellow Aussies might be using instead of Minwax (I think Masters sold that)
But was not sure if Bunnings had something i could use that wouldn't delaminate the paper or melt the foam.

I just use water based primer available through Bunnings. Make the coats light and allow to dry between coats or it will soak up the paint and even cause the paper to swell.

DO NOT use the cheap solvent based aerosols as they soak though the paper and attack the foam.

I have in the past used solvent based paints sparingly on tape covered planes but that was a little tiresome as I had to lightly sand the tape covering to get the paint to adhere when dry.

If you find the Miniwax equivalent let us know please.

Have fun!
