Is the maximum current/voltage supply of a micro servo connector the same as a norma?

I have a reciever board with micro servo connectors but I want to use it for the FT Spitfire which uses normal sized servos. Can I simply solder a micro servo connector onto the servo and esc and change the battery, or will they be underpowered?

I cannot find this information anyhwere, please help...
