I started the printing when this plane was originally released, but it got stalled out for numerous reasons. I have a LW-PLA fuselage partset printed and half of a PLA fuselage partset printed. I really want to get these done by FliteFest '25, and plausibly even put one in combat. Dusted off the print files and Simplify3D slicer last night, and my newest printer is working like a charm. PERFECT adhesion, and after the part cooled, it even popped off on it's own. Need to pick up a new supply of Tough PLA from MicroCenter. Currently only have black.

Was looking at the MicroCenter web site, and it appears they now carry LW-PLA too! Have a small and HUGE spool of white and want to pick up Black and Yellow. I'm partial to my local companies, and they were started and still reside here in Columbus. I worked for three months in their only distribution center 5 miles from my house a few years ago. Was a heck of a workout and got paid to work out every day! LOL

Current inventory of fuselage parts. White and silver were printed previously. White is LW-PLA, Silver and Black are PLA. Black printed in last 24 hours. Going to mix/match silver/black for PLA fuselage. I also have spinner, folding prop holders, TPU tires in clear & black, and unpowered nose cones in several colors.

I am jealous of you guys that can run these printers.
Maybe find a small 3D plane kit you want to try and maybe we can help you out!

I have been printing planes as long as I have been on the forum. I have yet to fly one of them! LOL THIS WILL BE THE YEAR!!! I have a complete parts set for a 3DLabPrint Easymax glider, A complete part set for an Eclipson Model V (superseded by the Model S), Two complete part sets for the Eclipson PRANDTL, (a V1, and a V2), and a good start on an Eclipson Model S (two complete fuselages)

Early on, I realized that I could not fly planes LOS and decided to stick to quads/FPV. The planes would get started, and I would pigeon hole them when another Tricopter, quad, Foam FPV plane, etc... came along. The last few years I worked predominantly on learning to fly LOS with the help of simulations, a nice FT Tiny Trainer my buddy's daughter built at FF '16, and learning to fly my foam FPV planes LOS. So NOW it is time to put all these parts together and get them in the air.

I've actually printed and flown a ton of parts for Tricopters, quadcopters, Foam FPV plane upgrades, and a self designed OctoUFO. So My 3D printing skillset, Flight contoller skillset, RX/TX skillset, etc... have all been improving along the way. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I love being part of the FT Community!

Cheers!
