I am jealous of you guys that can run these printers.
Maybe find a small 3D plane kit you want to try and maybe we can help you out!
I have been printing planes as long as I have been on the forum. I have yet to fly one of them! LOL
THIS WILL BE THE YEAR!!! I have a complete parts set for a 3DLabPrint Easymax glider, A complete part set for an Eclipson Model V (superseded by the Model S), Two complete part sets for the Eclipson PRANDTL, (a V1, and a V2), and a good start on an Eclipson Model S (two complete fuselages)
Early on, I realized that I could not fly planes LOS and decided to stick to quads/FPV. The planes would get started, and I would pigeon hole them when another Tricopter, quad, Foam FPV plane, etc... came along. The last few years I worked predominantly on learning to fly LOS with the help of simulations, a nice FT Tiny Trainer my buddy's daughter built at FF '16, and learning to fly my foam FPV planes LOS. So NOW it is time to put all these parts together and get them in the air.
I've actually printed and flown a ton of parts for Tricopters, quadcopters, Foam FPV plane upgrades, and a self designed OctoUFO. So My 3D printing skillset, Flight contoller skillset, RX/TX skillset, etc... have all been improving along the way. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I love being part of the FT Community!
Cheers!
