Sorry, ive duplicated this post in another section , but here goes.
Hi, im A newbie with a problem. i have a Lumenier Lux V2 that was working ok. After flashing new firmware to a Frsky internal moduel and a XM plus receiver while connected to the flight controller i suddenly got a different led sequence on the board. It started doing three fast flashes of red and green followed by two long flashes repeatedly. When i connect to my computer it now says usb device not recognised. If i connect in bootloader mode this doesnt happen and it connect to betafligh. It shows up in betaflight as DFU and i can flash to the board. but that is all i can do. if i try to get to set up it says it failed to connect. What has happened and what do the light sequence mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, USB driver problems are a plague hitting the multirotor world like Ebola. I have been through that hell as well as many others. The fix seems to be, take a break. Come back and start over by wiping the USB drivers and starting fresh or going to another PC.

This will bump your post and hopefully someone with better experience than me can help out.

It sounds like you flashed the wrong firmware on the board. Since it is still coming up in DFU mode, you should be able to flash it again. Make sure you are using the V2 firmware and not the original.

Cheers!

I have a V2 to use for comparison if you need more help.

Just did a quick serach for Lux controller issues. Some people are saying beta flight wont let things save properly if you have your TX on when working with it. If you don't have yours on when working with it the disregard that.

I just went thru driver hell myself with the Femto board and betaflight. I went thru all the suggestions on what programs and drivers to use and got no where. What worked for me is I uninstalled ALL drivers and DeFuse off my computer. COLD booted and ran Reg cleaner when it came back up.

Then I messed around and found that by uzing Zadig and loading ONLY the libusb driver. NOT the win driver. NOT Defuse that, the Femto came to life and functions in DFU mode and Betaflight gui mode with no other drivers no screwing around with any other 3rd party stuff. Maybe take a breath and run thru that process. you MUST do a cold start. a normal restart will not clear the driver links and windows will toss em back in during boot thinking it needed a repair.

Just reflashed my LUXv2 to the same version you have shown above. Blue light comes on solid and green light is flashing steady. The driver it is using is:
LuxV2driver.jpg

When plugging it in with the boot button pressed, only the blue light is on, and it uses the following driver:
LUXv2DFUdriver.jpg

Have you tried to reflash it again in case something went wrong during the flash?

Cheers!

EDIT: Looking at your picture above again and it looks like we might not be running the same version of windows. What OS are you using? Try taking it out of manual selection and see what options are in the dropdown list:
