My First post here.

Got into this hobby back in Feb 14, And after brutal and long winter, couldn't wait to do my first flight.
As you guys can tell I Crashed (hard), breaking two cox sky cruisers, one super cub. so then I decided to build my own.

FT build videos has been really really helpful. And here is my first build based on those.

As you can already tell its gonna be really tail heavy.
And here are couple of pics after putting servos and making controls move.

detachable wing makes it really easy to store.

Tried to get lil smart with Ailerons, but its not a very good idea. :( Cant use servo arms straight to move surfaces.

I made the swappable power pod.
Flew pretty good according to my buddy with few suggestions. :D

But unfortunately second flight I crashed within a few mins :black_eyed:
It crashed so hard, it broke the half the fuselage ,even motor shaft bent.
But why ???? because there was no elevator ????
Ya cause I had no idea about using screws to secure the servo arms :O

Any was it was great learning experience.
This was back in May, and since I joined RC club here in Champaign, IL.
They have FREE TRAINING program. How awesome. And I am almost ready to get my solo !!!!!:cool::cool:
