Hello,

I got a Nano Blade Qx2 FPV today.

For my FPV reciever setup I ordered this:

FatShark Dominator V3 with NexWave 5G8RX 32CH Receiver. I am trying to figure out what type of antenna I will need for my receiver. I was thinking omni directional, but can't find any documentation on what polarization the Nano uses, right hand or left hand. Any help?

Would something like this work?
https://www.amazon.com/RipaFire®-Fa...ds=5.8ghz+antenna&refinements=p_85:2470955011

I did find this:
"If you look at page 18 of the manual, it would seem that it is simply a wire attached to the top of the "camera board." I don't know why they opted for that vs a small CP antenna like the one on the original FPV Nano QX."

But I still don't know what antenna to use.

Interesting. I'd guess they did it to reduce weight and keep it from protruding in an effort to reduce crash damage.

You'd be best off using the stick antenna (dipole) on the goggles. You could use a patch antenna, but you'd need to keep it pointed in the general direction of the copter. This is where diversity receivers come into play. I'm using external diversity receivers with my goggles now for that reason. Especially for low power VTX, it helps quite a bit.
