It helps to have a friend who is an arborist.
One day I discovered that my slow stick is perfectly incapable of an inverted loop. As a result it was buried 50 ft up in a pine tree.
My buddy, the arborist, climbed up that sucker like a monkey and shook the branches as it jacob's laddered all the way to the ground.
