New to RC Flying

What is a good airplane to start with. I want to build it myself so if FT has a good starter plane, I would like to start with one of theirs. Anyone have any suggestions?

The FT Tiny Trainer, FT Tutor, FT Simple Cub and the FT Simple Scout are nice beginner planes.

Everyone here praises the Tiny Trainer. I've not tried it myself, but I have byilt and flown two Mini Scouts. I find with the Mini Scout that you can really, REALLY deviate from its designed spec and it will still be easy to fly!
