New to the form project thoughts

#1
I have been part of the hobby for over 5 years now, and recently I have been dabbling with foam and I had the idea of sizing up an FT design and glassing it & putting one of my 20cc engines in it looking for thoughts and opinions -thank you

Glassing can be an expensive and messy medium to use on a prototype especially if the result is possibly uncertain.

By all means do not let me discourage you but if I may I would suggest that you build it first and cover it in a covering film such as monocote or similar. Build the engine bay and fuel storage area such that they are lined and fully fuel proof of course!

If it survives the test flights then glass it but at least you will know that it has the structure to survive flying and landing.

Have fun!
