Hey
my wife want to give me a TX for but i am in daut what to wish fore.
i have been using my friends turnigy TGY-i6 and am quite satisfied with it and we are on a budget. But i like to bee a bit prepared fore future needs. so im looking in the turnigy family hoping to still be able to connect to my RX'es (IA6) an therefor i'm considering wising for one of these instead of the TGY-I6

Or this one:

my concerns is am i able to use my old IA6 recivers and is there a significant gain in transmitting range i either of the systems.

The i6 is a good one stop shop for a low price. But HKs sale on the 9X and 9XPro do make them tempting. However, they do not support AFHDS2A... only the old AFHDS. You will not be able to use the iA6 RX with anything but an i6 or an i10... The main downside of the FlySky i series stuff.

Normally I think the i10 is too expensive for a FlySky but for a limited time an quantity HK have it on sale for $99 which is a very fair price.

I haven't used it but it has lots of features and people seem to like it.

On the 9X I would only get it if you are up for modding it and think that might be fun.
On the 9XPro it is not clear what that DSSS module actually binds to. I suspect it binds to the old AFHDS/Turnigy V2 receivers that the 9X binds to. If that is the case you should only get if if you already have some of those. Otherwise you should get a FrySky DJT or XJT. You wil alos need a battery. HK make one with built in protection intended for it.

So if im getting thi right unless i bye the TGY-I6 or the TGY-I10 im not abel to use my recivers. I was hoping that i could get the X9 And bind to my IA6 recivers and later down the road get an other module with a capability give me loger range on FPV flight somthing like 1-2km (1mile)

I doubt you are going to get 1 to 2 km from an iA6 because its a park flyer model. You might get 1 km + from the iA6B

Like I said, the i series AFHDS2A FlySky/Turnigy receivers, iA6, iA6B, iA10 only bind to the i6 or i10 TXs. However they only cost between $10 for the iA6 and $20 for the iA10 so it's not like getting different ones later for a different TX is that big of a deal. Take a look at the prices for Spketrum or Graupner RXs

But if you don't have a TX you can always give the iA6 to your friend and get a new rx for your new transmitter.

If you don't like the i6 or i10 then you could get the 9XPro on sale for $50 right now and this battery

Then you could get the FrySky DJT or XJT module and say the FrSky D6FR - 6 Channel (planes) or the FrSky D4R-II (multi-rotors or 4ch planes)
