Help! Opening an Air Hogs TX

Hello Everybody!
I picked up an Air Hogs X-Wing foamy. It flies exactly as well as the archived posts suggest.

I’d like to replace and reuse the electronics.
I’d also like to get inside the transmitter to poke around.
Does anyone know how to open the case? The two tabs at the front are driving me nuts (short trip I know).

The TX is like the one in the picture.
