I just got a Pixhawk flight controller from 3D Robotics. I have been reading all the information on it for days. There is a lot to know. Does anybody have a Pixhawk? If so can you share any tips you might have? Thanks.
I've got an octocopter running the Pixhawk. I watched tons of videos and read all the guides before I ordered it, so I found it to be really simple and smooth once I got it. I don't have any general tips, but feel free to ask me if you have any specific questions.
I'm running the ReadyToFlyQuads version from Paul called RTFHawk. I have it mounted on a FT Cruiser with the digital airspeed sensor. I also have a FT Versa with a ReadyToFlyer (APM version) 2.5.2 on a FT Blunt Nose Versa.
All pretty straight forward, but tuning the PID's can be tedious even with autotune.
