Quick Retro Rocket steerable nose gear - Uses the existing snap-in plate!
You can make a steerable nose gear for your Retro Rocket using readily available materials! One of our club members came up with this method that can be done with a swivel ball link, by epoxying a servo arm to the landing gear arm. or by using a typical steering arm. Glue a 1/2" thick wood block to the inside snap-in plate as shown over the hole in the plate, then drill through the block with a bit that will allow the landing gear shaft to rotate freely.
