Radios for gliders

Looking at a B4 scale model glider I see it requires a radio with micro servos for all of the controls needed to fly it.
How many channels would I need more than six?

The number of channels depends on what you want to do. Add lights, bomb release, tow release etc.

I’ve been flying a long time, I’ve never used more than 5 channels. If all you want to do is fly, 6 channels will be enough. But you may need more if you want more stuff.
