@Chuppster my favorite kid's movie and still love the movie, be interesting if this could be done.
I think you have to be a homeless, cockney waif to fly a bed like that. 
If I were to try, I'd make it a quad copter.

yeah that was what I was thinking, build a small looking bed thingy ontop of the quad copter, because it goes up and then flies fast.
