Yes, they are here in the Resources section:

On a plane with an obvious radial it does improve things considerably to put something in the cowling.
I did this on my Depron Antonov AN2.

With such a big cowling I printed a 9cyl ASh-62 as near scale as possible.
PropBoss.JPG

It has all the scale details, carburettor, inlet pipes, an exhaust collector ring and side exaust pipe, but as most are behind the cylinders they are not visible.

But I know they are there!

Looks great! After I did the Staggerwing I made a P&W Wasp, just haven't put it on the this plane.

I built one of these over this last weekend. It went together nicely. Only issue Iran across was there isn’t really any provision for the Battery. I cut a hatch in the front ahead of the top wing and put it in the power pod. Hope to maiden it soon.

Flew it today on 1800mah 3S. As the designer said, it’s a nice gentle slow flyer. I reduced the rate on the elevator and added expo. Fun plane and it looks awesome in the air. One thing I’ll be adding is some covers for the bottom wing flap servos because I hand launch and belly land in grass.

Glad to hear that you’re enjoying it! A 2200 or 2300 battery adds some weight for windier days or if you want more speed. (y)

Thanks but the 1800’s that I have are older and the same weight as my newer 2200’s. It CGed right at 1/4 inch back of the leading edge of the top wing. The extra MAH’s in a 2200 won’t add any power, just fight time. They’re both 3S batteries so the voltage is the same. Think bigger fuel tank, not a bigger carburetor. 😊

True, it doesn’t add any more power, but the weight requires you to fly a little faster to keep it airborne, also provides extra ballast to penetrate wind. I had a sailplane that was fantastic for thermals, but to fly it in ridge lift (off a cliff) I had to tape a 10 inch crescent wrench at the CG to be able to fly. 🤣🤣

I gotta say, your plans were first rate. I’ve built A LOT of Flitetest planes from plans downloaded from the forum and yours were as good as any of them. I tried making a biplane Simple Scout and let’s just say it didn’t turn out well and there’s nothing simple about designing a foam board biplane. Kudos to you.

Nice, get us some video. Something exciting... fly low & slow over the Dog Park so that a Great Dane and a Husky are jumping and nipping at the tailwheel. 😆
